Reuters journalist Wa Lone has long known the suppression of press in his country, and yet he stands up against the suppressors – Senior general Min Aung Hlaing’s Myanmar Military and Aung San Suu Kyi’s NLD government.
His arrest is the prize that he paid for standing up for truth and against the suppressors while the perpetrators enjoy impunity.
